Lisa Edelstein has been an American actress for a total of 20 years. Most well-known is for her role in House which airs on Fox. Following her upbringing by conservative Jews in Wayne, New York City was the place she went to pursue her studies in acting at Tisch. Then, in the course of time she was engaged in the city's nightclub scene, and was able to make enough headlines to be recognized by the media, concurrently, becoming aware of the devastating effect of AIDS. She used both her training in music and fame to create and star in a musical of her own, Positive Me. Her first gig was on MTV as anchor of Awake on the Wild Side shortly after. Once the program was over the actress went on to join the film and television productions. Her first job was in tiny roles and then established herself slowly as an actress.
