Amber Benson is an American actor, singer, writer and producer. She is most well-known for playing Tara Maclay from the TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Benson is also the director of her films Chance, Lovers Liars & Lunatics and was the main actress in these films. Also, she starred in Kiss the Bride. Benson was the daughter of a psychiatrist as well as the wife of Diane Benson, was born in Birmingham Alabama on January 8 1977. Danielle Benson is her artistic younger sister.
