Lucy Liu was born in the US. Liu is an American actress, a singer and voice-over artist. Lucy Liu is a beautiful and smart actress. Numerous Asian actors aspiring to be big actors in Hollywood look up to her. The early successes of her were boosted through her participation in several popular television shows. There, she portrayed the evil Ling Woo. She translated her newfound fame into roles that were filmed on the large screen with Shanghai Noon, Charlie's Angels and several other films. Her performance was outstanding in the role of Japanese gangster O-Ren Ishii (Quentin Tarantino) in Kill Bill Volume 1 by Quentin Tarantino. In this period, she played the lead in several flops in the field such as Rise: Blood Hunter. In animated movies such as Kung Fu Panda, Tinker Bell as well as others, she voiced characters with prominent voices. The small screen role of Mia Mason in Cashmere Mafia failed to produce positive results. Southland's critically acclaimed police series, Southland and a recurring role helped Liu re-establish her status as a well-known actor.
